
Case Overview: The client is a manufacturer of pressure gas cylinders. They use pressure vessel steel plates to bend and make the cylinder body and head, and then weld the cylinder body and head together. Because there is pressure inside the gas cylinder itself, it is necessary to strictly control the quality of the weld seam to avoid causing personnel and economic losses.
Customer requirement: HATATEST needs to customize a DR detection system for gas cylinder welds for them. This customized DR detection system can be integrated with their finished product production line to achieve efficient, automated production and quality control.
Key points of solution design:
1. Use RGV automatic rail car to move gas cylinders
2. The system consists of a lead room system, a testing fixture system, testing equipment, a monitoring system, an operating room, and an operating console.
3. The detection fixture system is mainly composed of a radiation machine motion module and a detector motion module, and the detection system is mainly composed of a radiation machine and an imaging flat panel detector.
After the gas cylinder is sent into the lead room by the RGV automatic rail car, the detection system automatically performs weld and circumferential weld inspections on it. After the inspection is completed, the RGV automatic rail car will move the gas cylinder and transport it to the qualified finished product area.
